Heat :(

Its HOT! Its about 95ish in my room right now. I looked at apples website, and the Maximum operational temperature recommended for my PowerMac is 94˚. The CPUs themselves are currently running at about 140˚, up 10˚ from a little while ago. Yeah, I'm going to shut it down now. Till next time…

Pool Click

Today has been over all, pretty good. Got up nice and late, sat around for a couple of hours, got a call from Alex, and headed over to his place. There, we hung out for a while until Nina got there and decided to go for a swim. After a half hour or so of that, Alex Dracott and Nate joined us. Some swimming, some chatting, some eating and they left leaving me, Nina and Alex. We then decided to see Click (which turned out to be a pretty good movie, though not as funny in many parts as they made it look to be in the trailers) However, one cannot get the full experience of a movie before hitting the Dollar Tree on the way to stock up on food and drink. After grabbing our drinks, we waited inline for like 10 minutes for these 2 guys who mush have bought half the bloody store! Not too much after that, dropped Alex and Nina off back at Alex’s house and headed home.

Movie weekend

This last Friday, I went and saw Nacho Libre, and it was quite surprisingly good. After hearing it was directed by the same man who did Napoleon Dynamite, I was quite hesitant to go and check it out. However I was really happy to find that it was really funny just about all the way through. If there was anything in the trailer you liked, then I strongly recommend you see it.

On a similar note, I more recently got back from seeing A Prairie Home Companion. I love the radio show that plays during the weekends on NPR, but the movie wasn’t exactly what I had in mind. It pretty much all takes place during one show, which was a little disappointing. I was expecting it to be more like one or more of the stories that Garrison Keillor tells on the radio show, mixed together as an actual movie. But instead, its pretty much a filming of a made up show.

i love ice cream too!

NO CHEATING BY JUMPING AHEAD (I'M WATCHING YOU!)

1. Pick the number of times a week you'd like to have ice cream (more than once but less than 10).
2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold).
3. Add 5.
4. Multiply this number x50 (I'll wait while you get the calculator).
5. If you've already had your birthday this year add 1756....if you haven't....add 1755.
6. Subtract the four digit year that you were born (i.e. 1974 etc).
7. You should now have a three digit number. The first digit was your original number (i.e. how many times you'd like to have ice cream) and the next two numbers are YOUR AGE! 2006 is the ONLY YEAR this will happen so feel free to send others here to have a look and play along!
